The Book Sponsor Stanley Rangers Rugby League Teams

The Book have sponsored Stanley Rangers and both teams next year will be playing in a pink strip (breast cancer) all season. In May they are holding a charity gala day at Stanley Rangers Clubhouse to raise funds for the breast cancer charity. Both teams will be playing another local team Shaw Cross who are doing the exact same thing but for The Teenage Cancer Trust and will play in that charity's colour of sky blue. The day’s event is going to be filmed by Sky TV's rugby league programme "Boots n All" and be attended by ex-players/presenters Barry McDermott (ex Leeds Rhinos) and Terry O'Connor (ex Wigan Warriors). Also monthly rugby magazine "Rugby League World" and weekly paper "League Express" are sending reporter’s to cover the event.
